SILVIA EVANGELISTI PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Born in Bologna, Silvia Evangelisti holds a degree in Art History as well as a PhD in History of Contemporary Art and since 1986 has taught History of Contemporary Art and Art Critique at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna. In 1988, she began to collaborate with Arte Fiera as a consultant, and in 2004 she was appointed Artistic Director of the fair.
Evangelisti has worked as curator for exhibitions as well as on catalogues for public galleries and museums and has published numerous essays on 20th century art, more specifically on futurism and art from the 1920’s and 1930’s. Over the last decade, she has focused increasingly on contemporary art, organizing awards and publishing a number of articles on new generation artists and artistic movements. She also writes for newspapers and specialist magazines in the world of art.
The Bologna native is regularly engaged as a lecturer on modern and contemporary art issues at public and private Italian institutions as well as international ones, such as at the Fine Arts Department at Bilbao University in Spain and at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
JULIA DRAGANOVIC PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

German born Julia Draganovic is an independent curator and art critic with a particular interest in new artistic strategies and art in public spaces. From June 2009 through June 2010 she is guest curator of No Longer Empty, New York.
From January 2007 through February 2009 she was the Artistic Director of PAN | Palazzo delle Arti Napoli. She was the project leader for PAN’s partnership in the Art Radio Live project by the PS1/MoMa New York at the Venice Biennial 2007. From 2005 through 2006 she signed as Artistic Director of the Chelsea Art Museum, New York.
Draganovic has curated shows in Germany, Italy, Spain, Taiwan and the United States and has lectured in Europe and the United States. Her essays where published in innumerous catalogues and art books as well as in the Kunstzeitung, Arte, Arte e Critica and Flash Art.
